Help Deonte and his sick mother find a new home

Donate

My name is Deonte. I am disabled, and my mother has heart failure. I cannot type, so my mother will write for me.

I live with Spastic Cerebral Palsy, and every single day is already a hard fight. Simple things like moving, getting dressed, sitting up, going outside, or even getting comfortable take more strength than most people will ever understand. I need care, stability, space, and a safe place that works for my body.

But now, on top of everything I already face, my mother has heart failure and we are being forced out of our home by my uncle.

My uncle, who is also our landlord, gave us only two months to find somewhere else because he wants to sell the house. If we cannot find a place in time, me and my sick mother could end up homeless, with nowhere to sleep, nowhere to go, and no safe place for my wheelchair or my care.

We don't have money saved. We don't have another house waiting for us. We don't have the resources to just pack up and start over. We are being pushed into a situation that feels impossible to survive.

I have cried so much over this because I don't know how I'm supposed to survive on the street with my condition. We can't just sleep anywhere. We need proper care.

My mother has Congestive Heart Failure which means her heart is only functioning at 35%. She tells me she is afraid she may not live long enough to see us finally have a home of our own. Hearing my mama say that destroys me because she has spent her whole life taking care of me, and now I'm terrified she may not even have a safe place to rest.

This is not just about moving. This is about survival. I need to keep my mother off the streets. This is about making sure I don't lose the little stability I have left. This is about finding a home where my body can be cared for and where no one can ever throw us out again.

Right now, we urgently need help with housing, a deposit, moving costs, transportation, household needs, medical needs, and everything it takes to start over before these two months are gone.

I believe God can make a way, even when everything feels impossible. But right now, I need help from people with kind hearts who will help me and my mother.

So please, if God sent you my video, please help me and my mother before we end up with nowhere to go.

Help me give my sick mother a safe place to rest. Help me find a handicap-accessible home where I can live with dignity. Help us before this deadline comes and we are forced onto the street.

Every donation, every share, and every prayer brings us closer to safety.

God bless you, and please keep us in your prayers. 🙏💔
